Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

SongFeel keeps only what it needs to work — your account, your taste settings, and your scored-song list. It never sells your data, never tracks you for ads, never stores song lyrics, and never asks for your name, location, contacts, microphone, or photo library.

This policy explains what SongFeel collects, why, and the control you have over it. If anything here is unclear, reach us through the support page.

What we collect

This information is stored in our backend (Supabase) and tied to your account so it syncs across your devices.

What we do not collect

How song scoring works

To score a song, SongFeel sends its title and artist (text only) to a scoring service. Results are kept in an anonymous, shared cache so a song already scored by anyone doesn't need to be scored again. That shared cache is not linked to you or to any account — it's keyed to the song, not the person.

Subscriptions & payments

If you subscribe, billing is handled by Apple and our payments provider. SongFeel never receives or stores your card details — those stay with Apple and the processor. We only know whether your subscription is active.

Your controls

Data security

Your password is encrypted, and your signed-in session is stored encrypted on your device. Data in our backend is protected by row-level security so your account can only read and write its own data.

Data sharing & selling

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising. The only third parties involved are the infrastructure that makes the app work — our backend host, the scoring service (title + artist only), and Apple / the payments provider for subscriptions.

Children

SongFeel is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
